Nickie O'Hara

With one finger on the pulse and the other on her laptop keyboard, Nickie O'Hara is not afraid to share her opinion. She writes two blogs and shares innovative vision with many online and social media projects. She also co-leads the largest community Couch to 5k running group in the country, participates on community radio, is (still) part way through a Social Science degree with the Open University and sometimes crochets if she has a gap in her schedule. In her spare time she is wife, mum and nana, occasional drinker of wine and professional procrastinator. Always to be found with a Filofax or Bullet Journal close at hand.

Tim is a member of the rare species daddus bloggerus. A father of three and master of none, he is forever stuck somewhere in the mid-1980s, probably a Thursday. A social media manager by day, when Tim isn’t spending time with his family he’s writing about them on his blog Slouching towards Thatcham or talking about them as the host of the Meet the Parents podcast.

Zoe (otherwise known as Mama Geek) is a web developer, designer, and blogger with over 10 years of WordPress experience. For the last 5 years, Zoe has been working with WordPress blogs and commercial websites as a self employed freelancer, providing both support services and full site development. She also creates media packs, business cards & other documents when required for both businesses & bloggers.

Ruth has been working in marketing communications for over 20 years mostly in Cambridge with bouts of teleworking from Thailand and Spain. She currently manages the PR and Social Media for light therapy specialist Lumie so she works with bloggers every day. When she’s not promoting your review or giveaway you’ll find her in her other life trying to manage 1 husband, 2 daughters and 3 cats.

Aby is a full time blogger and online course creator. She’s also the Social Media manager for BritMums and half of Live Love Blog (an online Blogging Magazine). Aby writes You Baby Me Mummy, a top UK Family lifestyle blog, which specialises in blogging advice, coaching. She aims to help people make their blogging dreams come true. Aby’s an award winning blogger and has been a finalists in the BiBs for the last two years, being a finalist in the Outstanding Contribution award at the MAD blog awards in 2016.

Dawn is a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountant in England and Wales) who runs her own practice, ABC North East, specialising in small business accounting and tax advice. She set up her own business after spending 10 years working for major companies and accounting firms in roles such as Finance Manager, Internal Audit Manager and Head of Risk Management. Dawn used to have a parenting blog herself for many years so she fully understands the accounting side of blogging and works with many bloggers today providing accounting advice.

With a background in programming, and a tendency to *really* focus on detail she's explored all kinds of interesting blogging issues over the years, positioning her beautifully to give May's workshop on what comes after you've covered off the basics of blogging.

Grace has been blogging at Eats Amazing since 2012.  After training as a musician, and then as an accountant, she finally found her passion in the subject of children’s food – her blog is all about creating healthy, nutritious food with a fun twist.  Whilst it started as a fun hobby, blogging, photography and social media soon took over her life and now Grace works around the clock juggling Eats Amazing and the Eats Amazing Shop with full time parenting – life is rather crazy but she wouldn’t have it any other way. Grace lives in Hampshire with her husband, 2 boys and a very large pile of lunch boxes!

Ciara is the blogger behind My Fussy Eater, a family food blog packed full of healthy eating recipes along with tips and tricks for getting your kids to eat their veg! What started as Ciara's desperate attempt to get her daughter eating healthier has now turned into a full time career. She is a big advocate for the use of video across all social platforms and is particularly passionate about using Facebook to build a loyal and engaged audience.

With something of a penchant for navy stripes and commonly found rocking a red lip, Colette is blogging and vlogging her way through parenthood with the help of her ever patient husband, Dave. Her award winning blog was started in 2012 as a way of recording family memories and soon became a full time career (or should that be obsession?) She can occasionally be found in a primary classroom "keeping her hand in" but much prefers to be doing the school run or planning adventures with her own team of three.

Siân has been blogging since 2011 at Helpful Mum. She's a 35 year old mother of two who runs a B&B in the Yorkshire Dales. Her background is in video editing, having trained as an Assistant Producer in News at the BBC.

Mel, who has four young children and a serious food addiction, is rarely seen without her camera around her neck. Her blog, Le Coin de Mel is all about food, family life, allergies, crafts, days out and pretty much everything she gets up to with her family. When Mel is not drooling over food on Pinterest or Instagram, she bakes with her children, plans meals, thinks about her next sweet treat, shares recipes with friends or takes photos.

John Arnold

John Arnold, video blogger at PhotoWalkthrough.com and photography trainer, has been a keen amateur photographer his whole life but took it to the next level when digital photography took off in the early 2000s. Since then he's led numerous workshops in the UK and abroad and taught thousands of people how to use their cameras, how to compose their shots and how to process them afterwards using Photoshop and Lightroom.
